Scott Avett is a lead singer and one of the founding members of The Avett Brothers with his brother Seth Avett. In addition to lead singer, Scott plays banjo, guitar, piano, drums, and percussion.
Scott was born on June 19, 1976 in Cheyenne WY and attended East Carolina University.
Scott is an accomplished artist, and many of The Avett Brothers' designs and patterns were created by him. His paintings are often on display at galleries.
