Dolph Ramseur with The Avett Brothers
Ramseur Records is a musician management company and independent record label created and run by Dolph Ramseur in 2001 out of North Carolina.
Dolph Ramseur signed The Avett Brothers in 2002 after listening to their self-released Country Was and seeing them perform live. The Avett Brothers released seven albums and two promotional EPs with Ramseur Records before signing with American Recordings in 2009.
Ramseur Records continues to manage The Avett Brothers and also manages The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Jim Avett, Langhorne Slim and the Law, The Overmountain Men, and Samantha Crain. Their label features most of the same and Paleface, New Jersey Transient, Timothy Seth Avett as Darling, Seth Avett & Jessica Lea Mayfield Sing Elliott Smith, among others.
